Power supplies and equipment for hydrogen production
Margex brings CRRC Zhuzhou Institute's green-hydrogen equipment to Romania: high-power IGBT power supplies, ALK and PEM electrolyzers, separation and purification units and energy management systems.
IGBT power supplies for electrolysis
Fully controlled IGBT rectifiers with AC/DC + DC/DC topology, load response under 0.1 seconds and power factor ≥ 0.99. Available from 3 MW to 22 MW per unit as indoor, outdoor or skid-mounted integrated machines, CRRC power supplies turn fluctuating renewable energy into stable DC for electrolyzers.

All-in-oneComplete the hydrogen production system
The power supply is the heart of the plant. Around it, CRRC delivers the entire equipment chain – from electrolyzer to 99.999 % pure hydrogen.

Flexible green hydrogen production systems
CRRC Zhuzhou Institute has created a new generation of flexible green-electricity hydrogen production systems that address electricity–hydrogen coupling, off-grid hydrogen production and large-scale ALK electrolyzers. They build on more than 60 years of power-electronics and control-algorithm expertise and on renewable clusters such as wind, solar, hydro and battery storage.
Flexible
Energy management system deeply coupled with wind and solar forecasting, dynamic power regulation and cluster control. The power supply responds in milliseconds, the electrolyzer in seconds.
Safe
Real-time inspection of temperature and voltage in the electrolyzer chambers, accurate gas and liquid regulation and control interlocks meeting petrochemical specifications.
Efficient
DC consumption ≤ 4.0 kWh/Nm³ H₂ for ALK, all-in-one configuration with centralized group control, process optimization and water and electricity savings.
Intelligent
DCS/PLC & SIS automatic control, AI-assisted operation, intelligent operation and maintenance and on-site instrument visualization.
